Top-level comments on this article: (6 total)Well written article, Jay. Certainly entices me. My last tropical get away was to sunny Portevallarta (not sure of the spelling). But all the Islands are just as beautiful and your description fits right in. I hope to go there some day.
Thanks for sharing your visions with us.
Sandra
Thank you for sharing Sandra. I am sure Porte Vallarta is beautiful!
Jay, no offense but I think this is good advice for those who have. The majority of average and poor, well their pampering comes from 12 to 18 hours of work and a couple of hours sleep. To them that is a little slice of heaven.True, Robert, but this article is aimed at those who have... and those who dream. May we all be one or the other!
While it truly sounds wonderful, I probably have a better shot at getting there as an employee, rather than a tourist. Oh well, a girl can always dream...........Keep on dreaming Sarah, You never know when it might just happen! Too many of us give up too easily. Although I haven't had much financially for years, I know it will come some day... that is what keeps me going!
hi jay, i want to go NOW! i am 52, raised 3 kids, (17, 21, 23) and i have a partner i have known since we were 12, although we had a 23 year split, and i am going through a horriffic divorce. don't you think when this is over, my partner and i should go on a vacation? i think so. well written and interesting and depictive, i was envisioning the rooms and the water and sand. thanks for sharing, best regards, sue thomThank you Sue, Yes, by all means you should go..I sympathize with you on your divorce. I know they can be devastating. You certainly will deserve some recreation once it is finished~
sounds wonderful. I took my first cruise last year. Jamaica was one of the stops but we didn't have nearly enough time to enjoy the island. ThanksThank you Roschelle, I bet the cruise was awesome though!OMG!! Don't get me started. The cruise was....the most terrific word you can think of that expresses joy, fun, excitement, delight and all the food you ever dreamed of eating....Need i say more? (ROFL)
